WHP Summer Camp 2025

Drop your camper off at a fun, safe, local destination to enjoy a week of creating, imagining, learning, and discovery with friends! There is a 12 child maximum for preschool/primary camps so please let us know early if you would like to enroll your child in one of our fun sessions! 

At Whittier Heights Preschool Inc. Preschool and Summer Camp, we believe that every child is unique and capable of reaching their full potential. We provide a nurturing environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning. 

Preschool/Primary Camps, ages 3-7

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 2:00pm

Fee: $400/week 

Pack a lunch, water bottle, and lather your child in sunscreen - we’ll reapply as needed. 

1. ARTAPALOOZA  June 22 - 26 

Messy fun using a variety of materials for young artists to express and explore their creativity. A perennial favorite! 

2. UNDER THE SEA  June29 - July 3

Explore ocean life and ecology through art, stories, and science. What’s new under the Sea?

NO CAMP JULY 6 - 10

3. SECRET GARDEN  July 13 - 17

The garden is a place of discovery. Join us for bug hunts, planting seeds, and making garden art! 

4. BUILDERS July 20 - 24

Calling girls and boys who like to build! We’ll build creations with a variety of materials, as well as our trusty Lego’s and blocks! 

5. FANTASY FUN July 27 - 31

Join us for swashbuckling fun as we discover the world of fairies, dragons, pirates, and princesses! Treasure hunt on Thursday 7/30! 

6. MAD SCIENCE! August 3 - 7

Blast off into space, discover the world of dinosaurs, and join us for daily science experiments. Many discoveries await your budding scientist.

NO CAMP AUGUST 10 - 14

7. TOTS CHEF ~ August 17 - 21

Let's have some fun with food! We'll make it, eat it, and even create art with it. Come prepared for a yummy good time.

8. ARTAPALOOZA II Aug. 24 – 28

The return of messy art fun! Express, explore, create. Our favorite way to end the summer fun!  

Approximate daily camp schedule:

9 - 10 ~ Arrival, free play activities connected to our weekly themes and outdoor play
10 - 10:45 ~ Clean up, handwashing, snack time (we provide snack)
10:45 - 11:15 ~ Handwashing, circle/story time
11:15 - 12:15 ~ Art project or activity related to weekly theme, free play and outdoor play
12: 15 - 1 ~ Clean up, handwashing, lunch time (packed from home)
1 - 2 ~ Free play, outdoor play, wind down, clean up, parent pick up

Our schedule is flexible and can change depending on the different groups of children enrolled in our camps each week as well as our varying themes.
